Among such documents are military papers signed by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, a Policemen nominations signed by then New York Police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt while he was cleaning up and restructuring New York City Police Department, documents and letters from World War 2, and documents flown to the Moon aboard Apollo 12 Space Mission.

Document restoration and conservation services include a full range of treatments from the stabilization of fragile material to the complete restoration of documents including surface cleaning and non-aqueous deacidification to insure against further deterioration, reduction of creases, mending of tears and infilling areas of paper loss. Various options are available to insure the treated documents remain stable, including polyester film encapsulation as well as various folders and archival storage boxes.

Prior to beginning of every restoration project, each document is examined and a written description of proposed treatments along with an estimated cost based on time and materials are submitted to the client. No restoration process is started until the client authorizes the proposal. Photo documentation is taken before and after treatment and is given to the client with the final restoration report.

When document is too damaged to be restored by traditional means it may be restored using the latest digital restoration techniques - same procedures that are used in high quality photo restoration. A damaged document is scanned, digitally restored to as-good-as-new condition and printed on specialty paper making a wonderful display copy that can be showcased instead of the original.
